SINGLE OFFICER ACTIVE SHOOTER RESPONSE

ADAPTIV's course delivers progressive, intensive training for a single officer response derived from proven hostage rescue tactics and modern practical shooting and is truly one of a kind.

PRACTICAL PISTOL

Up-to-date practical pistol training focused on pushing speed and accuracy with the handgun. This course emphasizes how to train effectively, how to evaluate your own performance, and how to diagnose your own shooting issues.

  • 1-2 day course for 16–24 students
  • Isolated fundamentals and structured skill-building drills
  • Multiple-target engagements and movement principles
  • Engagement distances out to 25 meters
  • ADAPTIV provides a minimum of two instructors per course

PRACTICAL CARBINE

A fast-paced course designed around smaller, more common range formats. Focusing on the unique aspects of rifle shooting compared to pistol engagements.

  • 1-2 day course for 16-20 students
  • 50M bay requirement.
  • 600 5.56 round requirement per day
  • ADAPTIV provides a minimum of two instructors per course

C-200 COURSE

An unconventional approach to carbine training. Where most carbine courses are simply pistol courses with a rifle stuck in your hand, this course focuses on the advantages and unique aspects to rifle shooting.

  • Course curriculum by Lucas Botkin
  • 2 day course for 16-20 students
  • 200M bay requirement for positional engagements (not bench rest)
  • Any optic type works - this is not a precision-shooting class
  • Wide 50M bay requirement for movement-specific drills
  • 1600 rounds of 5.56, 100 rounds 9mm requirement
  • ADAPTIV provides a minimum of two instructors per course
